I was recently asked to help with registering this pretty little thing. Only 48cc so no NOVA required and we had an original Italian document. Sent application 29th August, unfortunately the original document will never be seen again. DVLA also want to inspect this, at least we know they have received the document. That's 3 out of 3 now, will try and get them inspected on the same day. WTS

Happy Days The Moto Morini is now UK registered. It was believed that the original Italian document would be retained by DVLA however in this case they have just stamped and returned it.

Happy Days The Moto Morini is now UK registered. It was believed that the original Italian document would be retained by DVLA however in this case they have just stamped and returned it. That's useful to know. The idea was that DVLA would send the log books back to the originating countries. I expect the Italians have told them not to bother with these old libretti ... I imagine they will still retain any modern computer-printed Italian documents they're sent.
