Afternoon all,
My James has a slight leak at the fuel tap, when pushed closed, I'm assuming the cork/material inside has deteriorated and therefore allowing fuel to leak. Is there a repair kit/fix or should I be looking at changing the fuel tap?
Thanks

If it's been left dry the cork will shrink and leak, sometimes they will expand again and be OK when emersed again.

Davwat, Thanks for the link! Thought I'd drain the tank and remove offending petcock to see if a soaking would help revive it. Turns out its not cork but what looks likea piece of leather 🤔. Still going to soak it but wondered if this was standard on a 50s James Superlux!
