Hi Guys, sorry if been asked before but my low beam on my headlight blew today while on the run. Is there anyone in the group who repairs them or any suggestions or advice on what to do to replace? I’d like to think that the glass part can just be replaced with something that takes a bulb 🤷🏻🤔

Without information about the make, model and type of bike, you have made it rather difficult for folk to help you. Please add details and may be a photo?

Ahh sorry, from what I initially looked up on YouTube I thought Sealed beam headlamps only came in a few sizes but the principal was the same for all. The bike is a 79 SP370. I was hoping other foke had been in my predicament and would had resolved it. Any help would be great and I’ll get pics tomorrow if needed. Cheers

Hi, is your suzy an usa import as i dont think my 1980 dr400 had a sealed beam maybe the uk models were bulbs l had the same problem with my yamaha 80 (usa import) & in the end i cut a hole in the back of the sealed unit large enough for the bulb to pass through and cut the front half off a donor bulb unit & araldited the rear half including the bulb holder correct way up onto the back of the sealed beam unit.

Hi yes, came from West Virginia. Ok thanks for the heads up. I saw a YouTube video on that. I’ve seen some replacement parts in the USA but nothing here yet. I’m going to do a shout out on FB this evening 👍

Have you asked Robinsons Foundry they often have parts for older suzuki bikes and they may advise you if the part was used on more common models eg gp125 etc
