I’m new to mopeds. So still finding my way around. I have a Puch MS50V from 1968 and the twist grip throttle has no return action. Is this correct or should it self return? Mind it’s handy when leaving it to warm up! 😁

As a rule, twist grips rely on the throttle slide spring to provide the return action. Not returning could be a sign of the cable action being a bit stiff. Some of the posher twist grips can be adjusted for friction ... but you don't often find these on mopeds.

That was my thinking too. Some investigation required I think. This bike has been sitting for 5 years so is still “waking” up. Cheers
