Little trip just into Cambridgeshire today to repatriate another autocycle. Bought from an auction 20-25 years ago and not touched (other when a grandson fitted a front tyre and wanted to ride it round the garden). Doubt if council records exist, most probably have to go the dating cert / age related route.

Thanks to Andrew for the prompt issue of this and 2 other dating certificates. Paid via PayPal. Wonder how long DVLA take these days.

Wonder how long DVLA take these days. Some good news about DVLA posted on an eBay group today:
"DVLA have excelled themselves for my latest first V5 registration on an import bike (not a bike for this group though, a Suzuki X7 I got from Holland) 🙂 - I know David Watson likes to keep track of how long they take at the moment - 3 weeks - sent off on the 26/11 and arrived back this morning.
Not holding my breath for a before Christmas for mine but in no rush anyway.

Wow As posted in another thread, the V5C arrived today just 3weeks + 1day.
Well pleased, they were about 8 weeks last year.
