ve60 a old mot cert an old one and the old buff log book. are they a nightmare too ride? If it's not on there reclaiming the original reg should be straight forward with the old log book, it's the V765 scheme the club is approved by the DVLA to do this www.autocycle.org.uk/v765.html
are they a nightmare too ride? depends what you want, they are not a Honda Cub for speed or comfort but great fun dodging the potholes with them small wheels and no suspension.

are they a nightmare too ride? Not necessarily: they were made with two gear ratios and the later version with the higher gearing is the better one to ride. As Dave says, it's best to avoid potholes, this is because the combination of small wheels and no suspension means you really feel any pothole you hit ... but roadholding remains good. In fact, having ridden Danny's highly tuned one, roadholding remains OK at speeds greater than they were ever meant to achieve.
