I'm in n Ireland Thanks I think you will have to sort a license first. Take it you are talking an oldish car licence that also included a moped ie 49cc only. I think most of us use Peter James over here, probably best to ring them www.peterjamesinsurance.co.uk/classics-insurance/

I just got a quote from Peter James for £112 for one bike, (Puch MS50V) then tried Bikesure. £62. So pays to look around. Scott

So pays to look around. Scott Especially when you're only insuring one bike. The Peter James policy would could cover several bikes and still be the same price but there are savings to be had if you only want to insure one.

A friend of mine has recently insured a 32cc Winged Wheel with Footman James. The premium is £75 but with no agreed value and no breakdown cover (breakdown cover would be £40 extra) I cant believe this as I have two bikes a 250cc Greeves & an 80cc Yamaha Townmate with PETER James and only pay £102. which includes agreed values and breakdown cover. Surprisingly I understand that Footman James are supposed to give preferential rates for EACC members. my friend is an EACC member!

Not sure about the "preferential rates" some insures ask if you are a member of a club.
As posted earlier in this thread " So pays to look around."
Peter James at £102 is probably the minimum fee these days, you can have umpteen bikes on there up to a value of £10,000 (I think) before it starts to go up.
