What model would this be ?
My limited knowledge on these things tell me early engines are 45cc is this ?
Did they have a frame number / where am I likely to find it ?

Did they have a frame number / where am I likely to find it ? Yes / Not sure exactly ... it's definitely on the main tube; I think it's somewhere on the underside of the front portion.

Thanks Andrew. Slowex cert arrived today and paid my £10.60 via PP
1954 a good year that !
Try a paper NOVA VAT1 and a cover letter to HMRC now.
Probably not one of my better purchases. WTS

VAT NOVA1 form, cover letter, copy of dating certificate and copy of what I paid on eBay all sent.
If NOVA was to combat fraud hopefully they can see that no major crime was committed here and it could also of been here before NOVA was introduced.
Fingers crossed.

So far so good.
In less than 2 weeks HMRC have processed my application. The paper version of the NOVA VAT1 form and cover letter has worked.
Now to deal with Swansea,

Sod the expense, 2 x separate applications sent off. (I have done 3 in 1 envelope before and got 3 consecutive registration numbers).
Sent separately just in case there is a query with one / they get separated or something goes wrong and they both get lost. Fingers crossed, Watch this space.

Letter received: HMRC have reviewed your vehicle notification and are satisfied that no VAT is due. Please note that certain information will be shared with DVLA for registration and licensing purposes.

Sent 18th August V5C arrives today 27th Sept, couple of days shy of 6 weeks seems to be about average and the same as pre Covid.
One thing I notice about the DVLA is they are consistent in being non-consistent. 2 X Letters arrived first and mentioning it could take up to 4 weeks for the document to arrive (both followed the next day).
This one no letter (yet) but document has arrived first.

Letter arrives today mentioning V5C to arrive within 4 weeks (that arrived last week). Another little inconsistency is they always enclose the dating certificate with the letter sometimes they return the ID information sometimes they don't. O well this case nearly closed, heaven knows when they will cash the cheque! I wonder if it bounces will they will chase it up
PS It's nnnXVS VSX would of been better lol

That one was short lived with me. Sold it on eBay and was collected today to go to it's new owner in Selby. I did mention in the description it was now registered with the help of an EACC dating certificate Some you win, some you loose (but not a lot) hopefully he will be able to restore it to it's former glory.
