It’s when I read these stories that I decide I just can’t be a***d to try and register my solex. It’s not worth the effort. OK, so you own a Solex but don't ride it as it is not registered? Clears that up.

Something is happening down at Swansea my 1957 bike that was issued with a 1975 registration number is no longer on the database. Fingers crossed a new document will arrive shortly. WTS

Well done, still have to get a NOVA for mine which is causing some grief, as of yet I have still not discovered when it arrived in the UK. Vendor tells me 2011 but hasn't produced any paperwork to confirm that so far.

Met the previous owner at Shepton Mallet auto-jumble yesterday who gave me a letter telling me that he acquired the machine at the Nettley March jumble Sept. 2003. ( Nettley does attract a fair number of continental sellers due it's proximity to the Chanel Ports ) Hopefully I can apply for a NOVA now, Andrew has advised me how to precede with the frame number.
