How do you get a NOVA if neither you or the vendor have no idea when the machine arrived in the UK? According the GOV. website HMRC are not accepting letters (blaming Covid). Did read somewhere it might be treated as a "barn find" but don't remember where or how.

AIUI, the on-line system only works if you know all the answers, so you'd have to resort to making up answers to do it - and I al;ways think that giving made up answers to HMRC is not a good thing. What about e-mailing them with a scan of the paper form?

You can use the service if: "you’ve imported a vehicle that was purchased and made available within the EU and either arrived or began transiting to the UK before 11pm on 31 December 2020"
The old online was do it within 14 days or incur a fine!

I haven't picked the machine up as yet, so I have emailed the vendor asking him to do it.
