Hello all. I need some help please. I'm restoring a 1980 Suzuki FZ50 model X. The rear tail/brake lamp has blown one element so I need to replace it. It's a 6V 5/21W bay15d with offset bayonets. Having bought one locally, I find it's different to my bulb. The new one has two contacts whereas my 'original' has three! I think this is because the tail light runs from the battery directly and the brake light only when the engine is running. My question is can I still get a three-contact bulb? If so, please advise where. If not, can I have suggestions to get round this with a two-contact lamp, please. thanks and regards jd
