Spotted outside the hall at Kneels Wheels 2009 At the end of the event it was still there, locked to a post it belonged to a local who left it there with a For Sale sign and a phone number. Guess who phoned the seller? Well it would of been rude to just leave it ! so it came home with me.
I did Insure, MOT, and Tax it one year but, on the way back from the MOT had trouble getting home with what was belt slip.
Somebody had made it fixed engine mounting where a spring thing should be, when we visited the David Silvers museum Mark Gibb kindly looked up the part £74 a VAT but they didn't have one.
Another couple of years and I made up a spring thing, but still had the slipping issue.
Mark kindly look for the correct belt: Discontinued item but could get one from Holland £80
A post on the FB group and somebody suggested a belt to get, a belt was ordered on eBay £6.49
A slight mod to my spring thing (shortened the spring) was made.
First time out today, no slipping.
Happy Days.

PF Update. One of my grandsons was riding the little 2 stroke Honda round the yard yesterday but I realised today I hadn't been that far on it. Still haven't gone out of the village but a little buzz today and quite impressive (especially after the 2 gear and back pedal brakes of the Nippy and Quickly).
