our rejoined Norfolk section member Ian Munroe and his neighbour from the time John Woolston In them days I didn't know Ian but John was a friend of my dads, I think they worked together as apprentices and John was stock car No62.
I was taken to the racing as a boy to watch and was involved for many years before getting into mopeds.

I liked these: In picture 2, Roger Worton is checking the route sheet, Bev Cook is in the 'deer stalker' helmet, then Andy Day, Owen Gough in the riding hat, Margaret Bunting with her back to us and a red helmet. The pictures are at Rattlesden ... the run didn't go through Rattlesden! No doubt, Tim Bunting and Owen Gough were the 'ringleaders' on this detour - both were notorious for getting lost on road runs. Owen, in particular, has the distinction of getting lost on one of his own events.

Well James we sometimes have local lead bikes at our northern eacc rallies.and I use local riders that know the area.but for some unknown reason they get lost or take wrong turnings.? That's why I always ride rear sweep bike.
