Just cancelled my AA membership after being told by them that they will only offer help to vehicles with a current MOT cert!

Your bike still has to be MOT compliant so what’s the issue?

You would hope the AA use common sense over the matter but...who knows if they will...
I use GEM Motoring Assist to cover my vehicles. They do not have any age restriction on the vehicle you are using and I find them more focused on customer service.

I think the RAC breakdown covers the driver not the vehicle you are on/in if I remember correctly

Just cancelled my AA membership after being told by them that they will only offer help to vehicles with a current MOT cert! So they won't cover MOT exempt vehicles?

I left Greenflag for a similar reason, they will not cover anything older than 16 years. I believe the AA and RAC have a similar policy so I went with GEM who will cover any age of vehicle. It's best to check before you need them!

Just cancelled my AA membership after being told by them that they will only offer help to vehicles with a current MOT cert! Well I just rejoined.
Mainly because of the new car being an unknown and thinking at £8 per month it's a good insurance to have for "me" (any vehicle) for Roadside Assistance and National Recovery. The current MOT bit does say unless exempt !!!
